Join Jenny Mayes for an online Workshop on Saturday the 30th of September 2023.
During the Workshop you will make several cards using Anna’s wildflowers CS330D. (Alternatively you could use Floral Silhouettes C326D)
Jenny will also be using the Mini Blooms set C327D, but this is not essential. There will be alternatives for each card made so you get ideas for all 3 sets in the range.
Jenny will also be using Shadow stamps CS355D (Backgrounds CS282D is a good alternative and you will see this used too) but you will be shown ways or achieving a similar effect if you don’t have either of these sets.
When a stamp set has been used in a previous workshop, e.g. the Backgrounds set, Jenny will often use it again to show its versatility.
There will be a short break during the morning after you’ve made the first couple of cards and a slightly longer break for lunch so you can get something to eat/grab yourself a cuppa etc.
The emphasis of the workshop is to show different ways of using this range of stamp sets and to create backgrounds to make a wide variety of cards.
Please scroll to the bottom of the page (Related Products) to purchase your Workshop kit. This includes the stamp set/s, Workshop, and the cards and papers you will need to craft along on the day.
Alternatively, if you already have the stamp set, you can purchase the Workshop and cut your own card. Sizes of cards needed will be shown separately.
GENERAL ITEMS YOU WILL NEED TO CRAFT ALONG
Acrylic blocks and/or stamping press
Versafine Onyx black ink pad (or Versafine Clair Nocturne)
Versafine Clair, or versafine, in different colours (Jenny will be using Twilight and a variety of other colours)
Smoothies or distress tools or brushes.
A selection of Distress Oxide pads.
Please, keep your favourite ink pads beside you as the colour choices will be up to you. There will be examples using different colour ways.
Water and paintbrush. Spritzer. Tile or blending mat.
Kitchen towel. Stencil tape. Scissors.
Permanent black fine liner. White pen
Greetings/Wordings stamps to finish off your projects.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
Shadow stamps and/or Background set if you have them.
A selection of Stencils if you have them. Jenny will be using flourish script and funky foliage.
Embossing powders (clear and white will be used in the sample artwork)
Heat gun
Versamark ink pad. Embossing pen. Perfect pearls or other powder mica.
Gansai Tambi Gem or Starry colours.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE ON THE DAY
This workshop will be shown in a private group via Facebook Live. This means you will need a Facebook account to watch and craft along with Jenny.
As this is an online workshop you do not have to be free on the day as the group will remain open.
You can watch the video whenever you want to and craft along at your own pace after the workshop finishes on the day.
During the workshop you can ask questions.
If you already have the sets we will put the paper sizes needed, on the group page, so you can cut your own.
You will still need to sign up and pay for the workshop.
