Online Workshop (13th April 2024) – Oliver Owl

Description

Join Jenny Mayes for an online Workshop, using CS160D ‘Oliver Owl’ stamp set, on Saturday the 13th of April 2024.

This is for the ONLINE WORKSHOP ONLY – Please only purchase this if you already have the stamp set (CS160D Oliver Owl)

During the Workshop you will make 3 cards and a bookmark.

Also useful for this workshop are some of the sets you may have used in previous workshops. Jenny will use Backgrounds CS282D, Janie’s Wildflowers CS190D and Inspirations CS067D. These are optional as you can complete the workshop with the Oliver Owl set. Alternatively you may wish to use other sets you already have e.g. Anna’s wildflowers.

There will be a short break after we’ve completed the first card (quick cuppa) and a short lunch break after the second card.

Although you will make 3 cards there will be numerous ideas for you to go back to, after the workshop, and create a wide variety of cards.

This includes the stamp set, Workshop, and the cards and papers you will need to craft along on the day.  Alternatively, if you already have the stamp set, you can just purchase the Workshop and cut your own card. Sizes of cards needed will be shown separately.

GENERAL ITEMS YOU WILL NEED TO CRAFT ALONG*

*PLEASE NOTE: Oliver Owl is a large stamp (approximately 150mm x 80mm)

You will need a stamp press and/or acrylic blocks, including one big enough to stamp Oliver

Versafine black inkpad, or grey or sepia versafine if preferred

Colouring mediums. Jenny will be using clean color pens and distress oxides.

Smoothies, distress tools or brushes.

A selection of inkpads in your favourite colours.

Water and paintbrushes, including one fine brush.

Spritzer.

Tile or blending mat. Kitchen towel.

Stencil tape. Scissors. Pencil.

Foam tape. Glue. Silicone glue.

Ball tool and embossing mat.

Permanent black fine liner. White pen.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

It’s a good idea to have some wording stamps to hand to complete your cards

Stencils of your choice and texture paste

Wink of Stella fine glitter pens, Gansai Tambi Starry Colours

Clear embossing powder and a heat gun

When you are in the group you can ask questions if you want any more information about the workshop.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE ON THE DAY

This workshop will be shown in a private group via Facebook Live. This means you will need a Facebook account to watch and craft along with Jenny.

This live online workshop runs from 10am to 2pm’ish. However, you do not have to be free on the day as the group will remain open after the live workshop.

You can watch the video again, whenever you want to, after it finishes on the day, and craft along at your own pace and go back and do the alternative cards.

During the workshop you can ask questions.

If you already have the stamp set/s we will put the paper sizes needed, in the group, so you can cut your own. You will still need to sign up for the workshop.
