You will no longer be able to craft live but you can watch the videos and craft along.

During the workshop, you will make 3 cards using the ‘Save our Seas’ stamp set (CS342D). There will be alternative cards which use the Coral stamp set (CS341D) as well. This set is Optional and is not necessary to complete the workshop.

The emphasis of the workshop is on building different scenes, colouring, and using stencils in different ways.

GENERAL ITEMS YOU WILL NEED TO CRAFT ALONG

Acrylic blocks

A stamping press is always useful

Versafine Onyx black ink pad (or Versafine Clair Nocturne)

Colouring medium. Jenny will be using mainly Clean Color pens. A list of colours will be shown on the group page before the Workshop. Please note this is a guide only. You may choose to use different colours and it isn’t necessary to have every colour on the list. Alternatively, you can use watercolour pencils or watercolour paints. (You will be using mainly watercolour cards on the day).

Smoothies or distress tools

A selection of Distress Oxides in your favourite colours. Jenny will be using light and dark blues, greens, yellows and antique linen.

Water and paintbrush. Spritzer. Tile or blending mat. Kitchen towel. Stencil tape. Scissors. Pencil.

Silicone glue (Jenny uses Pinflair glue) with a cocktail stick or syringe to apply it. Alternatively,you can use foam pads or tape.

Ball tool and embossing mat.

Permanent black fine liner. White pen.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

You may wish to have some greetings stamps to hand to complete your cards. Jenny will be using By the Sea (CS038D) and Greetings (CS336D)

Stencils of your choice. Jenny will use Hobby Art Funky foliage, Water, and Rays stencils.

Glossy accents

Stencil paste/Embossing paste & spatula (Jenny will be using translucent & white) OPTIONAL

CARD SIZES

I thought I’d give you the card sizes in case you are cutting your own paper pack for Saturday’s workshop, or want to cut extras to use.
Card 1: 125mm (5 inch) square white base card
110mm square blue piece of card
105mm square piece of watercolour card
105mm square piece of smooth white card (optional)
Extra piece of watercolour card
Card 2: 150mm (6 inch) square white base card
140mm piece of blue card
135mm piece of white card. Cut out a circle in the card to
leave an aperture approximately 87mm round
Put the card through an embossing folder to
leave a raised pattern if possible. (See picture below)
2 pieces of watercolour card. One to stamp the turtle of
your choice, and the second a square larger than the
aperture.
Card 3: 178mm (7 inch) square white base card
160mm square piece of black card
155mm square piece of watercolour card
Piece of scrap card (approx 90mm x 145mm)
